JOB TITLE: Administrator

Our client, based in the centre of York, is looking for someone with proven administration experience to join their team.

The main purpose of role is to be responsible for the administration management and provide a professional and confidential secretarial service for the department.

Duties will include:

*Arrange and keep accurate records of monthly file reviews for the Department
*Responsible for taking new enquiries for the department (telephone calls and face to face)
*Assist with ensuring files are compliant
*Organise departmental meetings and to take minutes
*Efficiently and promptly process all audio, digital or copy typing 
*Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain up to date Outlook diaries for the department 
*Deal professionally with clients, colleagues and other professional agencies on the telephone and in person as required
*Accurately record messages and forward these to the appropriate person without delay
*Ensure the confidentiality and security of all the Company’s and client’s documentation and/or information
*Maintain filing systems in effective and efficient order
*Make appropriate recommendations for service improvement
