JOB TITLE: IT Helpdesk Assistant
LOCATION: York  - with travel to other offices
SALARY: Competitive

Our client, based in York, is looking to recruit an IT Helpdesk Assistant, with at least one years relevant experience, to join their team, on a permanent, full time basis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:
  • As part of the IT team provide technical support and assistance to staff at all levels and all offices within the business.
  • Provide support to users in person, by telephone, by email or video conference and as directed by the Head of IT.
  • Assist as directed by the Head of IT in the configuration of new hardware, and setup of new users.
  • Monitor IT equipment stock and printer consumables across the offices.
  • Assist in ensuring the smooth running of the network and escalation of issues to other members of the IT team.
  • Conduct daily checks of critical systems & processes and escalate any issues as necessary.
  • Participate in the IT Helpdesk early and late cover rotas
